About this Talk

For a year, a team of 37 journalists and media professionals from 11 countries ventured into the Amazon to understand its criminal ecosystem and its impact o n Amazonian communities and the environment. The findings are presented in an interactive platform and were then socialized with GI - TOC’s network of experts , environmenta l groups and Indigenous communities in the Amazon . Together, we have built a policy br ief with a series of recommendations to face this tremendous challenge . These recommendations will be discussed in this panel.
