About this speaker

Rossella Merlino is Research Fellow in Contemporary History at the University of Messina where, between 2018-2021, she was Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow with a project investigating the mafia phenomenon in the province of Messina ("MessCa" GA799865). Her current research interests are in the Messina mafia, also from a historical perspective, and on the transantional, discoursive and cultural dimension of Italian organised crime.
