About this speaker
Ingeborg Geyer has been a member of Zonta since 1985 and served on the Zonta International Board of Directors. She has been an active member of a number of civic and professional organizations and represents ZONTA at the UN in Vienna since 2002 in various committees and functions as board member. Currently she chairs the Committee on Sustainable Deveolpment. Professionally, Ms. Geyer has been the Head of the Department for the Lexicons of Austrian Dialects and Names of the Austrian Academy of Sciences from 2003 - 2013 and has served as chief editor of the Lexicon of Austrian- Bavarian Dialects until 2015. She holds a doctor’s degree of the University of Vienna.
