About this talk
This panel will elaborate on the links between political corruption and organised crime in the WB6. It will begin with a conceptual analysis of a newly theoretical approach such as "organised corruption" and then it will move on by presenting different case studies providing different angles of this concept. Organised corruption includes the nexus between grand corruption and organised crime. Therefore based on several reports prepared by the members of the panel, key findings will be presented on political finance and organised crime and corruption on public investments from the WB6. The key argument of the panel is that theoretical concepts are vivid and need to contextualise, therefore there is a constant need to revisit and redefine them.
