Based on the latest research on the Neapolitan Camorra, this panel analyses different aspect of the evolution and modernisation of a mafia. It proposes innovative and different lens which provide new theoretical and empirical considerations. It is hoped that this panel will contributed to an in-depth discussion about mafia type organisations in their local contexts.
