Miloš Katić

As an accomplished investigative journalist with a strong background in digital forensics and financial investigations, Milos Katic has a proven track record of uncovering complex stories related to organized crime and corruption. Currently a member of the Digital Forensics Unit at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, he specializes in big data analysis and open-source intelligence. His dedication to investigative journalism and financial forensics has earned him recognition, including an award from the US Embassy and the Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia (IJAS). He's also contributed to vast amount of the projects, such as countering Russian influence in Serbia and Croatia, and is a member of the expert group at the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC). With a diverse academic background, including degrees in criminology, economics, and engineering management, as well as certifications as a Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS) and participation in prestigious programs like the Digital Sherlocks program by the Atlantic Council, he brings a wealth of expertise to the field of investigative journalism and forensic analysis. As an alumnus of the US Embassy and an advocate for responsible journalism, Milos Katic is committed to combating disinformation and promoting transparency. His continuous pursuit of knowledge through various training programs and courses further underscores his dedication to advancing the field of investigative journalism and forensic analysis.
