I hold a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Master's in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law, both awarded with summa cum laude distinction.


I have over 5 years of experience in the field of human rights, including documentation of gross human rights violations (torture and sexual torture, enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings), first-response and first-contact with victims, and criminal law litigation in Mexico.


Additionally, I have conducted independent research on international human rights jurisprudence and standards, transitional justice, amnesties, use of force by law enforcement officials, humanitarian search for missing and disappeared persons, and organized crime.
