About this speaker
Ms. Flavia Romiti currently works in UNODC Global Programme for the implementation of the Organized Crime Convention delivering strategic and legislative assistance related to the implementation of the Convention, including in relation to crimes that affect the environment. Previously, she served under UNODC Education for Justice (E4J) initiative where she primarily focused on countering organized crime through education. Prior to her time at UNODC, Flavia worked with UNDP in Cuba, collaborated with the Italian and Dutch national chapters of Amnesty International and interned with the UN Security Council Affairs Division in New York as well as the International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague. She holds a master’s degree in International Relations and a Master of Law from Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam.
