The roundtable examines the main trends and evolution of transnational organized crime (TOC) in Latin America and the Caribbean from a multidimensional scope. It has a particular focus on transnational organized criminal networks, illicit supply chains, sea ports crisis and organised crime, synthetic drugs, organised crime and gender, political violence as well as the crime-conflict compound in the region. In this way, the roundtable seeks to have a close discussion among both scholars and practitioners aiming at assessing structural patterns and dynamics of TOC in Latin America and the Caribbean, regardless a specific country or case study.
