This panel explores how media records could be utilized to measure the femicides situation in Mexico. They will then dive into the question of the new unilateral legislation in the country whether it shortens the time it takes for women to file a divorce. Finally, they will discuss the femicide laws which arguably do not contribute to the reduction of the killings of women.
