About this Talk

The discussion will focus on the power of comics to educate young people about the risks and harms of county lines, a model of criminal exploitation related to drug trafficking prevalent within the UK. The panel will share their experiences of designing a comic to be used in education and youth centres. It will explore the use of comic books as a tool to generate an open conversation with young people about exploitation, and will discuss how the art of storytelling can bring leading academic expertise on county lines to young audiences.
