About this talk
The proliferation of the Internet into the daily lives of people worldwide has seen the emergence of a number of illicit online markets. Around the world, discussions are ongoing about how governments, online intermediaries and other stakeholders can best work together to address these illicit markets. This panel draws upon diverse perspectives relating to the illicit online trade in cultural property, wildlife and falsified medical products to examine and draw parallels between these phenomena and to discuss how they can best be tackled.
