Joined Cellebrite in 2020 as a Senior Director for Accounts Development. Prior to joining Cellebrite He held a long career in the Israeli Ministry of Defense in operational and management positions
In his last position since 2016 he served as the Principal Deputy Director of SIBAT- the International Defense Cooperation Directorate at Israel’s Ministry of Defense (IMOD), Mr. Friedberg lead the IMOD’s initiatives and actions promoting collaboration between the Defense industry and MOD of Israel and those of other countries world-wide. This includes all aspects of GTG and CTG defense alliances with the State of Israel, industrial partnerships and security agreements. Heading all of the SIBAT headquarters divisions, Mr. Friedberg was is in charge of strategic planning, Cyber Division, international agreements and the various industrial and business relationship-promoting activities.
Prior to his position in SIBAT, Mr. Friedberg held various executive posts, including Director of Information Security and Foreign Relations with the Directorate of Security for the Defense Establishment (DSDE) – IMOD, and Senior Assistant to the Director General – IMOD, dealing with International relations, effective budget design and implementation, strategic planning and the IMOD teamwork with the Israeli defense industry.
Mr. Friedberg holds a Master's Degree in Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology both from Bar-Ilan University, Israel. In 2018 he completed the Senior Leadership Program at Harvard University, Boston.
Mr. Friedberg served as a Commander in the Paratroopers Special Forces.
