About this speaker
Nicole has spent the past 15 years working drug, human, and wildlife trafficking, in both the government and the non-profit sectors. Most recently, she was the lead author of Stella Maris, an Earth League International report mapping shark fin trafficking networks in Latin America. Her primary research focus is on crime convergence, particularly where TCOs' activities intersect in the areas of logistics and finance. She designed a model for the holistic dismantling of TCOs that advocates for simultaneous multi-sector interventions mapped to criminal business portfolios, which she has presented at the FBI, ICTOCT, and other venues.
