Maria Khoruk is an analyst within the Global Policy Team at the GI-TOC, where she contributes to GI-TOC’s Global Strategy against TOC and works on Academic Engagement initiatives, including as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Illicit Economies and Development (JIED). Maria’s research focuses are Afghanistan and Central Asia. Maria holds a Master's degree in Advanced International Studies from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, Austria.
