In the private sector, I held the position of Citizen Security Director at the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota, leading public-private and international cooperation projects for the development of the National Police, community violence prevention, and security conditions assessment.
In the public sector, I was Deputy Minister for Strategy and Planning at the Ministry of National Defense, responsible for planning the resources and financing programs for strengthening the Military Forces' capabilities and the National Police's modernization process. As the Secretary of Security, Coexistence, and Justice of Bogotá, I led the design and execution of the policy, the implementation of strategic projects, and the interaction with the public force. Currently, I am serving as Director of a crime prevention program in Ecuador, working very closely with international organization and the government of Ecuador
