Iris is the Network Coordination Officer for the Global Initiative Network of Experts. As such, she supports all engagement with and activities of the Network.
Iris joined the Global Initiative in 2015 as a Programme Officer and supported the implementation and monitoring of a number of projects, among which the EU-funded ENACT project and the Resilience Fund. She was first based in Geneva, and was then deployed to Brussels to act as the Programme Manager for another EU-funded project countering violent extremism in the Sahel (CT MORSE). Iris is also a translator and worked in a leading European translation company between 2018-2019, where she served as a Global Pre-Sales Manager and Southern Europe Regional Coordinator.
She holds an M.A. in International Relations and European Politics from the University of Bath, and an M.A. in International Project Management from the Sorbonne. Her areas of interest include wildlife crime and illicit financial flows with a regional focus on Africa and Latin America. Iris speaks fluent French and English, as well as Spanish and Portuguese. She is currently based in Paris.
