Analyst, Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) Ioannis has been at the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since April 2022 as an Analyst for the South Eastern Europe Observatory and the Global Strategy against TOC.

About this speaker

Ioannis is a Greek national and holds an LL.B in Law from the University of Warwick (United Kingdom), and an Advanced LL.M cum laude in International Criminal Law from the University of Leiden (Netherlands). An area that particularly interests Ioannis, which also formed the core of his Masters thesis relates to National Security Whistleblower protections and the reasons surrounding the lack of an adequate system of protections both at the national and international level.
