Francesco Landolfi is Adjunct Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Milan. His research focuses on the history of organized crime and terrorism in Italy and the United States in the twentieth century. He is the author of Politics, Police and Crime in New York during Prohibition: Gotham and the Age of Recklessness, 1920-1933 (Routledge, 2023).
