About this speaker
I am Associate Professor (Docent) at the department of Political Science, Uppsala University. My research revolves around issues relating to urban growth and political conflict, ethnic politics, communal violence, and local conflict resolution. I currently lead two collaborative research projects:The Urban Dilemma and The Continuation of Conflict-related Violence in Postwar Cities. I employ both qualitative and quantitative methods; field research focuses on cases in Kenya.
