About this speaker
Anna Saito has a MSc in Environment and Resource Management and has recently completed her MA in International Criminology. Her thesis explored the illegal wildlife trade, looking specifically into how wildlife is managed post-confiscation. She has previously worked as a research officer on natural resources and stakeholder engagement at ACTeon, and has also contributed to projects on illicit financial flows and human trafficking with Transparency International, UNODC and GIZ. Her research interests include transnational crime and illicit trade, asset recovery and return, alternative justice approaches, coproduction, conservation and green criminology.
