About this speaker
Anesa joined Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime as a Field Coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2020. She holds a degree in Journalism / Bussiness Communication and two master degrees in social sciences at University of Sarajevo. She has contributed to various media outlets and authored numerous research papers on organized crime. With over 12 years of experience in media and civil society, her topics of interest are illicit financial flows, environmental crime, smuggling of migrants and trafficking in human beings. In 2017 by UN BiH she was awarded for contribution in reporting on vulnerable categories, unacommpanied children.
