Andrea Oelsner is Associate Professor and Director of the IR and Political Science degrees at the University of San Andrés (Argentina). She holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She
was a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI) (2003-2004) and Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen (UK) (2004-2018). Her research interests lie in the fields of IR theories, international security, global governance, and in a
relatively novel area: international friendship. She has published books, articles, and chapters on these topics.
