Alice Rizzuti

Dr Alice Rizzuti is a research fellow at the School of Criminology, Sociology & Policing at the University of Hull (UK). She previously worked as a research associate in the project CRIME – Countering Regional Italian Mafia Expansion at the University of Essex, where she completed her PhD in Criminology in October 2020. In her doctoral research, she analysed the English and Italian institutional responses to harmful and criminal activities committed in the food sector, focusing on the involvements of organised and mafia-type groups. Her interests include food crime, food fraud, organised crime, corporate crime and green criminology.
