About this speaker
A former practititioner in gang intervention, Alan is a current PhD student at Queens University Belfast's Centre for Children's Rights. His research focuses on how young people experience child criminal exploitation, and the extent to which they can identify these experiences as victimising. Alongside this, his work looks at how the needs of such young people are currently met by policy and practice.
